Integra Electrical, based in Round Rock, TX, is seeking a diligent and motivated Electrical Construction Apprentice to join our team. Specializing in commercial projects, this entry-level position offers hands-on experience in electrical installation, including distribution systems, lighting controls, and life safety. The role primarily involves work in Round Rock and surrounding areas such as Austin, Georgetown, and Cedar Park. Candidates must be enrolled in a state-approved apprenticeship program and demonstrate a keen willingness to learn under journeyman supervision. This position provides exposure to diverse commercial projects and offers significant advancement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with electrical system installations and learn commercial wiring methods.
• Support power distribution projects and help with lighting control programming.
• Install conduit and cable pathways and maintain material inventory.
• Operate lift equipment under supervision and assist with fire alarm installation.
• Document daily work activities and support panel installation and testing.
• Learn building automation basics and coordinate with other trades.
• Specific to Round Rock, assist with the upcoming Dell Technologies expansion project.
• Ensure compliance with Texas regional safety regulations and standards.
• Participate in community-driven projects in the greater Round Rock area.
• Attend local safety and technical workshops to enhance skills.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required and enrollment in an apprenticeship program.
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to read construction drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools and a valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and good communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency and a commitment to ongoing education.
• 1-5 years of experience required for Voice Data work in a commercial setting.
• Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Round Rock.
• Ability to navigate and work in the urban settings of Round Rock’s expanding commercial zones.
