Key Responsibilities

• Install and configure server rack infrastructure in critical environments.
• Perform structured cabling installations and implement effective cable management systems.
• Mount network equipment and install power distribution units to ensure seamless operation.
• Coordinate equipment deployments and maintain comprehensive rack documentation.
• Execute hardware inventory management and implement efficient labeling systems.
• Ensure all operations adhere to clean room protocols and coordinate closely with network teams.
• Support local projects like the Columbia Tech Park expansion, ensuring timely and precise installations.
• Address regional requirements by collaborating with local utility providers for optimal power solutions.
• Assist in developing strategies for regional growth and infrastructure improvements.

Required Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Data Center work within a commercial setting.
• Proficiency in rack and stack procedures with a strong understanding of structured cabling and power distribution.
• Expertise with mounting systems and inventory management.
• Proven attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical documentation.
• Familiarity with South Carolina’s environmental and safety regulations for data center operations.
• Experience working in collaborative environments in Columbia’s tech and business districts.
