Position Overview

The Manufacturing Apprentice Electrician will work under the supervision of experienced electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in a manufacturing setting. This role involves hands-on experience, learning, and contributing to projects while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Essential Functions

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Perform basic electrical tasks such as bending conduit, pulling wire, and mounting hardware.
• Support project teams with electrical installations and system upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues under the guidance of a journeyman electrician.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all company safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• 0-2 years of electrical experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Valid electrical license for South Carolina.
• Completion of any required safety and electrical certifications.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety practices and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications such as OSHA 10 or 30.
• Experience with specific manufacturing electrical systems or components.
• Proficiency with electrical tools and diagnostic equipment.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Columbia, SC.
• Service area includes Columbia and surrounding metropolitan areas.
• Full-time position with a standard Monday to Friday schedule; occasional overtime may be required.
• Minimal travel required for local projects.
