Key Responsibilities

As a Residential Electrician Apprentice, your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the installation and maintenance of residential electrical systems
• Learning wiring techniques, safety protocols, and interpreting electrical blueprints
• Supporting team with material handling and job site preparation
• Assisting in installing outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and circuit breakers
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Performing basic troubleshooting under supervision
• Documenting daily tasks and learning progress
• Attending required apprenticeship classes and training sessions
• Following safety guidelines and regulations
• Participating in site inspections and testing procedures
• Coordinating with team members and supervisors on project tasks

In addition to the above, you will be expected to:

• Comply with regional requirements for Colorado
• Stay updated about upcoming residential electrician projects in Lakewood
• Continuously build your understanding and skills in residential electrical systems

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Enrollment in an apprenticeship program is preferred
• A basic understanding of electrical concepts
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physical ability to lift tools and materials
• Attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• A strong interest in residential electrical systems

You will also need:

• 0-3 years of experience in an electrical role
