Overview of Commercial Electrician Role

As a Commercial Electrician at Rogers Electric, you will play a critical role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a commercial environment. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of projects that meet our high standards and satisfy client expectations.

Essential Functions

• Execute electrical installations and maintenance for commercial projects.
• Utilize advanced test equipment to diagnose issues and ensure safety compliance.
• Bend and install conduit according to project specifications.
• Interpret and apply knowledge from code books to ensure installations meet regulatory standards.
• Work on various projects including office buildings, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.
• Possession of a valid electrical license for the state of Georgia.
• Proficiency in using advanced test equipment and conduit bending techniques.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and regulations, including OSHA 30 and Arc Flash Safety certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with code books and their application in commercial projects.
• Proven experience working on commercial projects.

• Primary location: Gainesville, GA.
• Neighboring cities include Oakwood, Flowery Branch, Lula, and Braselton.
• Schedule: Full-time position with potential overtime.
