What You’ll Do as an Electrical Trainee

Your Daily Tasks as an Electrical Trainee

Assist with Wiring Installations and Conduit Work

Every day, you’ll partner with experienced electricians to handle wiring installations, ensuring all connections are safe and secure. You’ll be involved in cutting and threading conduit, which are essential tasks for protecting electrical wiring systems.

Prepare Materials and Tools

You’ll be responsible for organizing and preparing the necessary materials and tools for each job site. This includes tasks like gathering wires, conduits, and other essential equipment, ensuring that everything is ready for the day’s work.

Perform Routine Safety Checks and Site Maintenance

Safety is our top priority. You’ll conduct routine checks on tools and equipment, ensuring everything is in proper working order. Additionally, maintaining a clean and organized work area is crucial, so you’ll be involved in cleaning up sites and organizing tools and materials regularly.

Learn to Read Electrical Schematics

What You Need to Be an Electrical Trainee

Essential Skills and Experience

To excel as an Electrical Trainee, you should have basic familiarity with hand tools like wire strippers and voltage testers. A strong willingness to learn on the job is crucial, as is the ability to follow safety protocols diligently. You’ll need excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively with our crew. Physically, you should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and feel comfortable working in confined spaces.
