Must Haves for Data Center Tech

• 3-5 years experience as a Data Center Tech: Proven experience in a data center environment with a focus on power and cooling systems.
• Proficiency with cable testers: Expertise in using tools like Fluke for cable testing and network validation.
• Strong understanding of network configurations: Capable of following precise documentation protocols for effective network management.

Key Data Center Tech Duties

• Install and maintain server racks: Efficiently set up and maintain server racks according to industry standards.
• Route and secure high-density cabling: Manage cabling infrastructure, ensuring secure and organized routing.
• Set up PDUs and perform cable testing: Utilize Fluke tools for cable testing and ensure optimal performance of PDUs.
• Document network layouts and connections: Accurately document all network configurations and connections.
• Adhere to cleanliness standards: Maintain strict cleanliness standards within the data center environment.
