The Apprentice Electrician Position

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Electrician at Rex Moore Electric, your day-to-day duties will include assisting in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems. Core Apprentice Electrician Responsibilities

Basic Duties

• Assist with residential electrical installations
• Run and secure cables through walls and ceilings
• Prepare job site materials and tools
• Install basic fixtures like outlets and switches
• Provide support for troubleshooting and repairs
• Maintain safety compliance on work sites

Advanced Technical Duties

• Assist in complex wiring and circuit installations
• Aid in the installation of energy-efficient lighting systems
• Support the setup of electrical panels and breakers
• Contribute to the planning and execution of large-scale electrical projects in the Bay Area

Safety Protocols

Required Experience & Skills

Experience and Skills

• Basic knowledge of residential wiring and circuits

• Reliable transportation to job sites
• 0-2 years minimum experience as an Apprentice Electrician

Certifications

• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• Basic Electrical Safety certification

Technical Knowledge

• Understanding of electrical codes and standards
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical diagrams

Tools & Equipment

Daily Tools
