Commercial Electrician at Kirby Electric

Kirby Electric is seeking a skilled Commercial Construction Electrician to join our team in Concord, CA. As a key member of our construction projects, you will work on active construction sites across the region, including nearby cities such as Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, and Martinez. Your role will involve coordinating with multiple trades to ensure the successful installation and integration of electrical systems.

Qualifications

• CA Journeyman License
• 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Proficiency in conduit bending and installation
• Knowledge of current NEC codes
• OSHA-30 certification
• Scissor lift and powder-actuated tool certifications

Key Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems in new construction
• Coordinate with other trades on site
• Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
• Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit
• Pull wire and perform panel terminations
• Integrate lighting control systems and fire alarm systems
