Mastering the Essentials and Beyond

• Installation and Maintenance: Install, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems, ensuring all components, including control panels, smoke detectors, and pull stations, meet design specifications and safety standards.
• Advanced Technical Duties: Program and configure complex fire alarm systems, conduct advanced diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve intricate issues, and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate system integration.
• Regional Project Involvement: Engage in projects that require comprehensive knowledge of local building codes and fire safety regulations, particularly those specific to New Hanover County and neighboring areas.
• Safety First Approach: Adhere to strict safety protocols, ensuring all installations are conducted with the utmost care to protect both personnel and property. Regularly update safety training to comply with the latest industry standards.

Required Experience & Skills

Expertise and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years as a Fire Alarm Technician, with a proven track record of successful installations and maintenance.
• Certifications: NICET certification in Fire Alarm Systems, along with a valid electrical license specific to North Carolina.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of fire alarm control panels, proficiency in programming and configuring systems, and familiarity with NFPA standards and local fire codes.
