Position Overview

The Industrial Apprentice Electrician will support the electrical team in executing industrial projects in Wilmington, NC. This role offers hands-on experience and training under the supervision of experienced electricians, providing an excellent foundation for a career in electrical services.

Essential Functions

• Assist journeyman and master electricians in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
• Perform basic electrical tasks such as wiring, conduit bending, and equipment setup.
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts for electrical issues.
• Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.

Required Qualifications

• 0-2 years of electrical experience.
• Valid electrical license for NC.
• Completion of necessary certifications and training programs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various environmental conditions.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety protocols and standards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications relevant to the Industrial Apprentice Electrician role.
• Experience in industrial or commercial electrical projects.
• Proficiency with tools commonly used in the electrical trade, such as multimeters, wire strippers, and conduit benders.

• Primary location: Wilmington, NC
• Nearby cities: Leland, Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach, and Hampstead.
• Schedule: Full-time, with opportunities for make-up shifts as required by project demands.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $18.47-$25.52 per hour.
