The Electrician Position

Core Electrician Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain commercial electrical systems with precision.
• Bend and install EMT and rigid conduit with accuracy.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits using advanced multimeters.
• Wire and test complex lighting control systems.
• Replace and upgrade switchgear for enhanced performance.
• Install transformers with expertise and oversee apprentices to ensure quality work.

Advanced Technical Duties

• Design and execute complex electrical layouts for large-scale projects.
• Implement energy-efficient solutions tailored to the specific needs of regional projects.
• Conduct comprehensive safety inspections and audits to uphold safety standards.

Safety Protocols

Required Experience & Skills

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with conduit benders and a wide range of power tools.

• Ability to work confidently on lifts and scaffolding.

Experience and Certifications

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Electrician.
• Essential certifications: Journeyman Electrician License, OSHA 10 or 30, CPR/First Aid.

Technical Knowledge

Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, including circuit design, load calculations, and energy-efficient technologies.
