Prime Partners is seeking a skilled and dedicated Voice & Data Technician to join our team in Maricopa, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing voice, data, and electronic communications systems in commercial settings, emphasizing new construction and big box retail projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain voice and data cabling systems in accordance with industry standards.
2. Test and certify network cabling using network testing equipment.
3. Work with blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to install and maintain systems.
4. Install, maintain, and repair equipment such as switches, routers, and servers.
5. Provide onsite customer service and ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks.
6. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment.
7. Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure project success.
8. Travel to job sites in Maricopa and surrounding cities as required.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field is preferred.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience in voice, data, and electronics systems installation and maintenance.
4. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
5. Strong knowledge of industry standards and local building codes.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
8. Able to work in a team and independently.
9. Able to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.
10. Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Requirements:

1. Completion of a background check and drug screening.
2. Willingness to travel to job sites in Maricopa and surrounding cities.
3. Availability to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
4. Certification in data cabling or related field is a plus.
