This position involves working on new construction and big box retail projects in Lake Havasu City, AZ, and surrounding cities like Kingman, Parker, and Bullhead City.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice, data, and electronic communication systems.
2. Manage cabling, routers, switches, and related infrastructure.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to voice and data systems.
4. Work closely with project managers and engineers to deliver top-quality service to clients.
5. Ensure all installations and maintenance comply with applicable codes and standards.
6. Provide on-call emergency service as needed.
7. Work with a variety of cable types, including Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic.
8. Handle network configuration, server deployment, and cable testing.
9. Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. 2-3 years of experience in voice and data communication systems installation and maintenance.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical industry specifics, particularly for commercial work.
4. Proficiency in working with network hardware like routers, switches, and patch panels.
5. Excellent understanding of cabling standards and color coding for Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic cables.
6. Familiarity with new construction and big box retail electrical requirements.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
9. Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
10. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
