Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Lake Havasu City, AZ

Job Description: Prime Partners is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and residential projects across Lake Havasu City, AZ, and surrounding cities such as Kingman, Parker, Bullhead City, and Needles, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes.
2. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
3. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
4. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
5. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
6. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
7. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and colleagues to implement electrical systems that meet client needs.
8. Ensure compliance with safety procedures in all working practices.

Qualifications:

1. Must possess a valid Journeyman Electrician License in the state of Arizona.
2. Proven experience as an electrician with a minimum of 4 years in the trade.
3. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
4. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
7. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
8. Valid driver’s license.

Requirements:

1. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
2. Must be able to lift and transport heavy equipment and tools.
3. Must be able to work in various weather conditions.
4. Willingness to travel to surrounding cities for projects.
