Job Description: Prime Partners is a leading electrical contracting company that specializes in commercial work, primarily new construction and big box retail. We are looking to hire an experienced Voice & Data Technician to join our Elk Grove team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of voice, data, and optical fiber cabling. You will work with a team of professionals to ensure our clients receive top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice, data, and optical fiber cabling.
2. Test and troubleshoot issues with network communication systems.
3. Inspect and service data lines and circuits.
4. Collaborate with engineering staff to understand and implement wiring plans.
5. Keep accurate records of all work performed, materials used, and report any issues or discrepancies.
6. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
7. Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer issues and ensuring satisfaction.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Knowledge of voice and data systems, optical fiber cabling, and structured cabling systems.
4. Strong understanding of electrical industry specifics for commercial work.
5. Ability to read and comprehend blueprints and schematic diagrams.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. Able to handle physical requirements such as lifting heavy equipment and working on ladders.
9. Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation.
10. Must be willing to travel to surrounding cities including Sacramento, Davis, Stockton, and Fairfield.
