We are currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team, providing vital electrical services to our clients in Elk Grove and surrounding cities, including Sacramento, Laguna, Wilton, and Rancho Cordova.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems for commercial and residential properties.
2. Inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
3. Adherence to all quality and safety codes.
4. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
5. Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
6. Directing and training workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
7. Performing effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.

Qualifications:

1. Valid state Journeyman Electrician’s license.
2. A minimum of 4 years of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair experience.
3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
4. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.

Requirements:

1. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
2. Evidence of having worked as a journeyman.
3. Valid driver’s license.
4. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
5. Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and devices.
6. Experience with industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
7. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
