About Prime Partners:

Prime Partners is a leading name in the electrical industry, specializing in commercial work mainly for new construction and big box retail. We are currently seeking a skilled and highly motivated Voice & Data Technician to join our team in Corona, CA, serving also surrounding cities, which include, Norco, Eastvale, Chino Hills, Yorba Linda, and Riverside.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair voice, data, and wireless communication systems.
2. Maintain and repair switches, routers, modems, and other network hardware.
3. Pull, route, or label CAT5 or CAT6 cable.
4. Install various support structures, including cable racks, j-hooks, innerduct, and other related structures.
5. Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is working efficiently.
6. Coordinate directly with field service technicians to troubleshoot and correct issues.
7. Provide service to customers by answering inquiries, providing information, and maintaining rapport.
8. Keep precise and accurate records of work performed, material used, and billing information.
9. Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree in a related field preferred.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Voice/Data Technician in the electrical industry.
3. Strong knowledge of telecommunication systems is necessary.
4. Knowledge of industry standard cable specifications.
5. Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and apply technical data from manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
6. Valid driver’s license required.
7. Excellent physical condition and ability to lift, push, or pull heavy weights.
8. Good communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
9. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
10. Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. It also involves frequent bending, lifting, and climbing. The job demands physical strength to lift and move heavy equipment or materials.
