Security Technician Position Overview
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As a Security Technician at Prime Partners, your daily tasks will involve installing, configuring, and troubleshooting complex security systems. This includes IP cameras, access control systems, motion detectors, and alarm systems across various commercial job sites. You will be responsible for pulling, terminating, and labeling low-voltage cables, ensuring each installation meets the highest industry standards.

Core Security Technician Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot robust security systems, including advanced surveillance solutions and integrated access control mechanisms.

Qualifications
Experience and Certifications
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a Security Technician.
- Essential certifications include CompTIA A+, BICSI Installer, or equivalent.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IP networking, camera systems, and cable routing and termination.
Technical Knowledge
- Proficiency in troubleshooting both hardware and software issues.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies.

- Technicians are required to provide personal tools such as screwdrivers and pliers.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
