Prime Partners is urgently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician for our long-term projects in Santa Fe, NM. We’re looking for a dedicated professional to install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems. You will play a vital role in ensuring our projects are completed efficiently and safely, working alongside a dynamic team of construction professionals.

Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
• Valid journeyman electrician license and a thorough understanding of NEC codes.
• Competency in conduit bending, electrical tools, and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Leadership abilities to effectively manage apprentices and collaborate with teams.

Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician

• Install and maintain commercial electrical systems, including switchgear, transformers, lighting fixtures, and power circuits.
• Accurately measure, cut, and bend conduit (EMT, rigid) for system installations.
• Perform wire pulling, labeling, and termination, ensuring connections meet NEC code requirements.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools like multimeters.
• Collaborate with other trades to ensure project timelines are met.
• Supervise apprentices, providing guidance on techniques and safety practices.
• Maintain organized and clean job sites, adhering to all safety standards.
