Qualifications for Journeyman Electrician
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Journeyman Electrician
- Must hold a valid journeyman electrician license or equivalent experience
- High proficiency in conduit bending, panel terminations, and blueprint reading
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and commercial electrical systems
- Demonstrated experience in supervising apprentices
Responsibilities for Journeyman Electrician
The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems on commercial construction sites. Key tasks include running EMT, RMC, and PVC conduit, pulling and terminating wiring, and installing lighting, panels, switchgear, and control systems. The candidate will interpret blueprints and electrical schematics, collaborate with project managers and other trades, and ensure all work complies with NEC standards and client specifications.
