We are in urgent need of a skilled Commercial Electrician at Prime Partners in Decatur, GA, to join our team for long-term projects. As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining commercial-scale solar panel systems, ensuring all electrical components meet code compliance standards, and troubleshooting system issues. Your role will be crucial in supporting our renewable energy initiatives and ensuring efficient grid integration.
Qualifications for Commercial Electrician
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Commercial Electrician.
- Expertise: Proficient as a Journeyman Electrician, with hands-on experience in solar PV and energy storage systems.
- Certifications: OSHA 30 and NABCEP PV Installation Professional certification preferred.
Responsibilities for Commercial Electrician
- Install and wire solar panel systems, inverters, and battery storage units.
- Connect DC wiring to AC infrastructure for rooftop and ground-mounted solar arrays.
- Troubleshoot and repair PV systems and energy management systems.
- Conduct system diagnostics, including insulation resistance testing and voltage measurements.
- Ensure compliance with NEC codes and utility provider standards.
