IT Systems Administrator Position Overview
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
As an IT Systems Administrator at Prime Partners, your day will involve collaborating with a dynamic team to ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems. You’ll be tasked with maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure, which includes both on-premises and cloud environments. Core IT Systems Administrator Responsibilities
Enterprise IT Infrastructure Management
You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a robust enterprise IT infrastructure that includes servers, virtualization platforms like VMware, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and VoIP systems. Daily tasks involve system monitoring, patch management, user account administration, and ensuring system reliability, uptime, and security compliance.
Advanced Technical Duties

- Designing and implementing complex network solutions

Qualifications
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 4 years as an IT Systems Administrator
- Extensive experience managing Windows Server environments, VMware, and Active Directory
- Proficiency with VoIP systems such as ShoreTel
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage medium-scale commercial environments
Essential Certifications
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Technical Knowledge
