Your Daily Tasks as a Fire Alarm Installer

- Install Fire Alarm Systems: You’ll install fire alarm control panels and devices, pull and terminate fire alarm cables, and mount notification appliances and initiation devices.
- System Programming and Testing: Assist with programming systems and conducting initial testing to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- Documentation and Coordination: Maintain detailed point-to-point wiring documentation and coordinate with other trades to ensure proper device placement.
- Pre-wire and Trim-out Phases: Engage in pre-wiring tasks and trim-out phases, ensuring all systems are ready for final testing.
- Conduit and Cable Pathways: Install conduit and cable pathways efficiently, ensuring neat and safe installations.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot system wiring issues, ensuring all components are functioning properly.
- Color Coding and Labeling: Maintain proper color coding and labeling of wires for easy identification.
