What You’ll Do as a Fire Alarm Technician

As a Fire Alarm Technician with Prime Partners, you’ll play a crucial role in safeguarding our commercial new construction projects in Las Vegas and its neighboring cities such as Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Boulder City. This multi-year project requires skilled technicians who are meticulous, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of fire safety. You will be the backbone of our fire safety systems, ensuring they are installed and function flawlessly.

Your Daily Tasks as a Fire Alarm Technician

Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve a variety of tasks essential to the successful installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems:

• Install and Program Systems: You’ll be responsible for installing and programming fire alarm control panels, smoke detectors, strobes, and other critical system components.
• System Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct comprehensive system testing, verification and troubleshooting to ensure all systems meet both local and national fire safety standards.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with general contractors and other trades to ensure timely and efficient system installations.
• Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all installations, inspections, and repairs for regulatory compliance and future reference.
• Routine Maintenance and Inspections: Carry out regular maintenance checks and inspections to ensure all systems are operational and up to code.
• Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency maintenance calls to resolve system issues swiftly and effectively.

What You Need to Be a Fire Alarm Technician

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in the field as a Fire Alarm Technician is required.
