Key Responsibilities

Project Oversight & Execution

• Manage project lifecycle from design and estimation to installation and completion.
• Develop and maintain installation schedules, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.

Financial & Contract Management

• Create budget forecasts, cost estimates, and financial reports to ensure profitability.
• Handle billing, change orders, and contract negotiations to optimize project success.
• Monitor job costs and implement strategies to control expenses.

Team Leadership & Relationship Management

• Lead and coordinate efforts between engineering, purchasing, and field teams.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Conduct project meetings, ensuring clear communication of goals and expectations.

Mentorship & Training

• Support the development of Project Engineers and Coordinators.
• Participate in hiring, coaching, and training initiatives to strengthen our project team.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• 10+ years of experience in managing HVAC projects ranging from $50K - $100M.
• Extensive knowledge of HVAC estimating, project design, and contract administration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

• Active involvement in HVAC industry organizations.
• Experience working with large-scale commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
