Core Fire Alarm Installer Responsibilities

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install fire alarm control panels, notification appliances, and initiation devices. Pull and terminate fire alarm cables while ensuring proper system functionality.
  • System Programming and Testing: Assist in system programming and conduct thorough testing to verify performance and compliance with NFPA 72 standards.
  • Documentation and Coordination: Maintain detailed point-to-point wiring documentation. Coordinate with other trades to ensure proper device placement and integration.
  • Advanced Technical Duties: Perform advanced troubleshooting of system wiring issues, ensure proper color coding and labeling, and assist with final testing and inspections.
