Your Daily Tasks as an Electrical Trainee

As an Electrical Trainee, your day will start with setting up workstations and organizing tools and materials necessary for the day’s tasks. You will support electricians by pulling wire, running conduit, and assembling electrical panels. Preparing job sites for installation is crucial, and you’ll play a key role in ensuring everything is ready for the team. Learning to read blueprints is another critical aspect of your role, and you’ll follow instructions to complete basic electrical tasks under supervision.

Participating in daily safety meetings is mandatory. You’ll apply best practices to maintain a secure work environment, ensuring the safety of yourself and others. Additionally, you’ll gain hands-on experience with electrical tools and systems, learning directly from licensed professionals. You may also assist in troubleshooting minor electrical issues, testing circuits, and maintaining tools and equipment.

What You Need to Be an Electrical Trainee

To join us as an Electrical Trainee, you must possess a valid Electrical Trainee Card from the CA Department of Industrial Relations. We are looking for individuals eager to learn and develop their skills in electrical work. You should have the ability to follow instructions diligently and work collaboratively within a team. A willingness to perform physical tasks and adhere to safety protocols is essential in our construction environment.

While 0-1 years of field experience is desirable, we value your hands-on abilities and problem-solving skills. You should be comfortable with using various electrical tools, have a basic understanding of electrical systems, and possess good communication skills to interact effectively with team members.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $20.69-$28.29 per hour, depending on your experience.
