- Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding NFPA 72 requirements
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members
Responsibilities for Fire Alarm Installer
- Install fire alarm control panels, devices, and pull/terminate fire alarm cables
- Mount notification appliances and initiation devices
- Assist with system programming, testing, and troubleshooting
- Maintain detailed wiring documentation and ensure proper labeling
- Coordinate with other trades during device placement and installation phases
