Electrical Trainee Position Overview

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As an Electrical Trainee at Prime Partners, your daily responsibilities will involve supporting our skilled electricians by pulling wire, running conduit, and assembling electrical panels. You will set up workstations, organize tools and materials, and prepare job sites for installation. Your role is vital in ensuring that every project runs smoothly and efficiently.

Core Electrical Trainee Responsibilities

• Technical Duties: In addition to basic tasks, you will assist in the installation of sophisticated electrical systems, conduct routine maintenance checks, and troubleshoot minor electrical issues. Qualifications

• Experience: 0-1 years minimum experience as an Electrical Trainee.
• Certifications: Must possess a valid Electrical Trainee Card from the CA Department of Industrial Relations.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with basic electrical systems, ability to read and interpret blueprints, and knowledge of safety regulations.

Tools & Equipment

• Daily Tools: Wire strippers, conduit benders, multimeters, and voltage testers.
• Personal Tools: Trainees are expected to have a basic set of hand tools including screwdrivers, pliers, and wrenches.

Physical Requirements

• Lifting Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Working Conditions: Work in various weather conditions on construction sites, requiring standing, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.
• Safety Gear: Hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots are mandatory at all job sites.
