Core Data Center Technician Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure Installation and Configuration: Install and configure data center infrastructure, including servers, cabling, and power distribution units, ensuring top-notch performance and reliability.
  • Routine Maintenance and Testing: Conduct regular maintenance and testing of critical systems to guarantee operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Cable Management and Cooling Optimization: Manage cable systems meticulously to optimize airflow and ensure efficient cooling, critical for system stability.
  • Documentation and Coordination: Document configurations, system changes, and performance metrics for accurate project records. Coordinate with project stakeholders to align setups with operational requirements and industry standards.

Advanced Technical Duties

  • Implement advanced network configurations and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Develop and execute strategies for data center expansion and scaling.

Qualifications

Essential Experience and Certifications
