Qualifications for Cable Technician

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Cable Technician.
• Expertise in structured cabling installations and troubleshooting.
• Proficient with cable testing, termination, and certification procedures.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and work effectively on active commercial construction sites.

Responsibilities for Cable Technician

• Install, test, and troubleshoot CAT5e, CAT6, and fiber optic structured cabling systems.
• Perform cable terminations on patch panels, jacks, and network devices.
• Conduct cable testing and certification to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
• Install cable pathways, including conduits, raceways, and J-hooks, while adhering to safety codes and blueprints.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and clients to meet project deadlines and maintain quality standards.
