Journeyman Electrician at Prime Partners

Job Title: Journeyman Electrician Company: Prime Partners Location: Sierra Vista, AZ

Prime Partners is seeking a reliable and proficient Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This position also covers the surrounding cities of Sierra Vista including Bisbee, Benson, Douglas, Tombstone, and Naco. We’re looking for a self-motivated professional who has a deep understanding of electrical systems and is capable of performing quality installations, maintenance, and repairs on residential and commercial electrical systems while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
3. Identify electrical problems with a variety of testing devices.
4. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
5. Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.
6. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
7. Complete all assigned tasks within given deadlines and maintain quality standards.
8. Ensure compliance with all electrical regulations and standards.
9. Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on all electrical systems.
10. Communicate with clients professionally and resolve any issues they might have.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Hold a valid Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Arizona.
2. Proven experience as an electrician.
3. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
4. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
7. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed an apprenticeship as an electrician.
8. Valid driver’s license.
9. High degree of attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship.
10. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
