We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our dedicated team.

Job Description: The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in accordance with national and local electrical codes. This position involves working on a variety of projects, ranging from residential to commercial and industrial.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
2. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and ensure compliance with state and local building codes.
3. Diagnose malfunctioning systems and apparatus, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
4. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
5. Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to ensure conformance to building and safety codes.
6. Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
7. Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit or moving or lifting heavy objects.

Qualifications:

1. Valid state Journeyman Electrician License.
2. High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in relevant field is a plus.
3. Minimum of 4 years of experience in the electrical trade.
4. Familiarity with industrial and commercial electrical systems.
5. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools, and electrical drawings and blueprints.
6. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
7. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
8. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.

Requirements:

1. Must have a valid driver’s license.
2. Must be willing to travel to the surrounding cities - Ventura, Camarillo, Port Hueneme, and Santa Paula.
3. Must pass a background check and drug screening.
