Job Title: Journeyman Electrician

Prime Partners, a leading company in the electrical industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems. The ideal candidate should have practical experience in the electrical field, excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
2. Read technical diagrams and blueprints.
3. Perform general electrical maintenance.
4. Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
5. Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate of testing devices.
6. Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
7. Follow National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
8. Circuit breaker corrective maintenance.
9. Good knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems.
10. Good knowledge of various test equipment.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.
2. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
3. Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g., wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints.
4. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
5. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
6. Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
7. Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
8. Valid license to practice the profession.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Completion of electrician apprenticeship.
3. Experience working as a journeyman electrician.
4. Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.
5. Able to work well on a team.
6. Strong understanding of the electrical industry.
7. Valid driver’s license.
8. Must be willing to travel to surrounding cities (Arizona City, Eloy, Coolidge, Stanfield, and Maricopa).
9. Must pass a drug and background screen.
