Job Description:

Prime Partners is a leading electrical contractor company based in Avondale, AZ. We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable, and highly-skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems in residential, commercial, and industrial environments across Avondale and its surrounding cities, including Goodyear, Litchfield Park, Tolleson, and Buckeye.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
2. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and parts, including wiring, switches, circuit breakers, and light fixtures.
3. Conduct tests and inspections on electrical systems to ensure they are safe and in proper working order.
4. Comply with all state and local building regulations.
5. Troubleshoot system failures or malfunctions and provide necessary solutions.
6. Collaborate with construction or manufacturing workers to create and implement electrical systems.
7. Train and guide lesser-skilled electricians and apprentices.
8. Keep records of all work done, materials used, and the time spent on each job.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. A valid state Journeyman Electrician License.
2. Minimum of 4 years of experience as a licensed electrician.
3. Proven knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment, and safety codes.
4. Ability to read and follow technical drawings and blueprints.
5. Solid troubleshooting skills.
6. Good communication and customer service skills.
7. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy equipment.
10. High school diploma or equivalent.
11. Availability to work overtime, nights, weekends, or on call as needed.
