As an Apprentice Electrician at Nipper Electric, you will play a crucial role in supporting our commercial projects. You will work under the guidance of experienced electricians and project managers to install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in various commercial settings. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial buildings such as office spaces, retail centers, hospitals, and schools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documents to ensure accurate installation and compliance with project specifications.
• Utilize digital multimeters and other testing equipment to troubleshoot and ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Support senior electricians and project managers in completing projects on time and within budget.
• Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge in the electrical field.

Required Certifications and Experience

• Lift Certification and a valid State Trainee Card are mandatory.
• Experience with Digital Multimeters (Fluke) and OSHA 10 certification.
• 1-2 years of electrical experience in a commercial setting is preferred.
• A valid electrical license for North Carolina is required.
• Familiarity with power tools, including Milwaukee and DeWalt brands, is essential.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in the electrical trade.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working on commercial projects is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using power tools such as Milwaukee and DeWalt for various electrical tasks.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Charlotte, NC
• Conveniently located near neighboring cities such as Matthews, Mint Hill, Huntersville, Cornelius, and Pineville.
• Schedule: Full-time position with standard working hours and occasional overtime as required by project demands.
