Position Overview

The Repair Apprentice Electrician at MMR Group will work under the supervision of experienced electricians to develop skills and gain knowledge in electrical repairs and maintenance. This role involves hands-on training and participation in various projects, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

Essential Functions

• Assist licensed electricians in the repair and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Perform basic electrical tasks, including wiring, troubleshooting, and installation.
• Participate in project planning and execution under the guidance of senior electricians.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Required Qualifications

• 0-2 years of electrical experience.
• Valid electrical license for South Carolina.
• Completion of required certifications and training programs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in electrical work or related fields.
• Experience in specialized electrical systems or environments.
• Proficiency with electrical tools and diagnostic software.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Charleston, SC.
• Service area includes the surrounding metropolitan area.
• Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime.
• Travel requirements may include site visits within the service area.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $18.27-$25.03 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
