Position Overview

The PV System Master Electrician at MMR Group will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of photovoltaic systems. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems and PV technology, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Essential Functions

• Lead the installation, inspection, and maintenance of PV systems.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align on project plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of electrical work and system performance.
• Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical experience, with a focus on PV systems.
• Valid electrical license for the state of Florida.
• Certifications in PV systems installation and maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• NABCEP certification or equivalent.
• Experience working on commercial and utility-scale PV projects.
• Proficiency in using electrical design software and PV system tools.
• Familiarity with the latest PV technologies and trends.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Tallahassee, FL
• Service area includes the surrounding metropolitan area.
• Full-time position with occasional overtime as needed.
• Travel to job sites within the service area may be required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $36.84-$41.44 per hour, based on experience.
