Overview of the Heavy Industrial Commercial Project Manager Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Heavy Industrial Commercial Project Manager to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. This role is pivotal in managing complex industrial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. As a Heavy Industrial Commercial Project Manager, you will lead project teams, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and oversee all aspects of project execution. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving project success and maintaining IES Electric’s reputation for excellence.

Essential Functions

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage industrial projects from inception to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial efficiency.
• Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards and compliance with relevant codes and regulations.
• Team Coordination: Oversee project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and addressing any concerns.
• Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Required Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• International Project Management Association (IPMA)

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of electrical experience
• Valid electrical license for FL

• Comprehensive safety knowledge and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace

Preferred Qualifications

• IPMA certification

Location & Schedule

• Primary Location: Tallahassee, FL
• Neighboring Cities: Havana, Quincy, Midway, Crawfordville, Monticello
• Schedule: Full-time, with flexibility to work extended hours as project demands arise

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $38.11 - $44.7 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
