Key Responsibilities

• Install Commercial Electrical Systems: Assist in the installation of electrical systems in commercial settings, ensuring all work meets the required standards.
• Lighting Installations: Help with the installation and maintenance of various lighting systems, including basic lighting controls.
• Run EMT Conduit: Use your skills in bending and installing EMT conduit to support electrical installations.
• Pull Wire: Assist in pulling wire through conduit and raceways, ensuring proper routing and protection.
• Wire Devices: Terminate devices such as switches, outlets, and light fixtures with precision and care.
• Troubleshoot Electrical Issues: Work with senior electricians to diagnose and resolve electrical problems, utilizing your growing knowledge of electrical systems.
• Maintain Documentation: Accurately document work completed, changes made, and materials used for each project.

Required Qualifications

• Electrical Apprentice License: A valid Electrical Apprentice License is mandatory for this role.
• OSHA-10 Certification: Must have completed OSHA-10 certification to ensure adherence to safety standards.
• First Aid/CPR Certification: Current certification in First Aid and CPR to respond promptly to any emergencies.
• Scissor Lift Certification: Ability to safely operate a scissor lift for tasks at height.
• Basic Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of basic electrical theory and NEC code requirements.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Experience with Power Tools: Proficient in using various power tools safely and effectively.
• Commercial Experience: 1-3 years of experience working as an apprentice in a commercial setting.
• Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift over 50 lbs regularly and work from ladders and heights.
• Willingness to Travel: Local travel between job sites in and around Ogden is required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $24.11-$34.14 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
