Position Overview
The Custom Home Master Electrician at MMR Group in Gainesville, FL, will oversee electrical installations and maintenance for custom home projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in residential electrical systems and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
Essential Functions
- Plan and execute electrical installations for custom homes, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure electrical systems are functioning optimally.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other trades to align electrical work with overall project timelines and objectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues swiftly to minimize project delays.
- Mentor and guide junior electricians, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of electrical experience, with a focus on residential projects.
- Valid electrical license for the state of Florida.
- Completion of relevant certifications and training programs.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in the electrical trade.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as a Custom Home Master Electrician.
- Experience with smart home technologies and energy-efficient systems.
- Proficiency with specialized tools and equipment used in custom home electrical work.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Gainesville, FL
- Neighboring cities include Alachua, Newberry, and Archer.
- Schedule: Full-time with flexibility for make-up shifts as project demands require.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $36.80 - $41.35 per hour.
