What You’ll Do as an Electrician Helper

As an Electrician Helper, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our electricians with the essential tasks that keep our projects moving forward. Your day-to-day will involve hands-on activities and learning opportunities, providing you with a solid foundation in the electrical trade.

Your Daily Tasks as an Electrician Helper

As an Electrician Helper, your primary role is to support our skilled electricians in their daily tasks. You’ll be responsible for pulling wires through conduit systems and cutting and preparing conduit for installation. Mounting electrical boxes and organizing materials and tools will be part of your routine, ensuring that electricians have everything they need to work efficiently.

You’ll assist in assembling light fixtures and basic electrical components, learning the intricacies of installation and wiring. Maintaining cleanliness and organization on the job site is crucial; you’ll help with debris removal and ensure tools and materials are stored safely. Additionally, you’ll provide general assistance with measurements and marking layouts as directed by licensed electricians.

Common daily activities also include checking electrical systems for functionality, helping with the installation of safety systems, and assisting in troubleshooting electrical issues under the guidance of experienced electricians.

What You Need to Be an Electrician Helper

To excel as an Electrician Helper, it’s essential to have a basic understanding of hand tools such as pliers and screwdrivers. The ability to follow instructions accurately is crucial, as is having strong physical stamina to handle the demands of the job. Compensation
