Requirements for Cable Technician

• Key responsibilities for Cable Technician at MMR Group:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot cable systems.

• Low voltage cabling installation for Cable Technician:

  • Install and terminate copper and fiber optic cables.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of installed cabling systems.

  • Must be proficient in using cable testers and termination tools.

Qualifications for Cable Technician at MMR Group

• 2-5 years of experience in cable installation and maintenance.
• Required certification: BICSI Technician.

• Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certification: BICSI Installer 2 is highly desirable.

• Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime based on project demands.
