Position Overview at MMR Group
As an AV Systems Tech, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audiovisual systems in office building projects throughout Minneapolis, MN, and the surrounding areas. You will ensure that all AV systems are installed according to project specifications and operational standards, providing technical support and expertise to meet client needs.
Essential Functions for AV Systems Tech
- Install, configure, and test AV systems in office buildings.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure systems meet project requirements.
- Document installation processes and provide training to end-users.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements in AV systems.
Required Qualifications for AV Systems Tech at MMR Group
- 3-5 years of experience in AV systems installation and maintenance.
- Required certification: QSC Certification.
- Proven experience with Crestron Control Systems and Extron Electronics.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional certification: Extron Certification.
- Experience with QSC Q-SYS systems.
- Specialized experience in large office building projects.
- Proficiency with AV installation tools and software.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Minneapolis, MN.
- Additional locations: St. Paul, Bloomington, Brooklyn Park, Plymouth.
- Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime as project demands dictate.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $29.95-$36.15 per hour.
