The Office Apprentice Electrician will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
Requirements for Office Apprentice Electrician
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings.
- Support senior electricians in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Required Certifications and Experience
- Valid Driver’s License.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- 1-2 years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.
- Valid electrical license for the state of North Carolina.
- Experience with Basic First Aid/CPR and Digital Multimeters (Fluke).
Skills and Tools
- Proficiency in using Digital Multimeters (Fluke) for diagnostic purposes.
- Familiarity with hand tools such as those from Klein and Knipex.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
- Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
Safety Knowledge
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for oneself and others.
Preferred Experience
- Experience using hand tools from Klein and Knipex.
- Previous experience working on commercial projects is highly desirable.
Location & Schedule
- Primary location: Raleigh, NC.
- Neighboring cities include Durham, Cary, Apex, Garner, and Wake Forest.
- Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime depending on project needs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $22.12-$27.11 per hour, commensurate with experience.
