Overview of the Office Apprentice Electrician Role

The Office Apprentice Electrician will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.

Requirements for Office Apprentice Electrician

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial settings.
• Support senior electricians in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
• Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Required Certifications and Experience

• Valid Driver’s License.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• 1-2 years of electrical experience in a commercial setting.
• Valid electrical license for the state of North Carolina.
• Experience with Basic First Aid/CPR and Digital Multimeters (Fluke).

Skills and Tools

• Proficiency in using Digital Multimeters (Fluke) for diagnostic purposes.
• Familiarity with hand tools such as those from Klein and Knipex.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
• Capable of standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.

Safety Knowledge

• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for oneself and others.

Preferred Experience

• Experience using hand tools from Klein and Knipex.
• Previous experience working on commercial projects is highly desirable.

Location & Schedule

• Primary location: Raleigh, NC.
• Neighboring cities include Durham, Cary, Apex, Garner, and Wake Forest.
• Schedule: Full-time, with potential for overtime depending on project needs.
