Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be installing and terminating 480V 3-phase power distribution systems and performing precise conduit bending for complex industrial applications. You’ll also assist with VFD and motor control installations, conduct preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, and use digital multimeters and meggars for testing. Keeping detailed maintenance logs is a must, along with assisting in PLC cabinet assembly. You’ll follow confined space and elevated work procedures and support production equipment installations. Specific to Fort Wayne, you’ll also work on projects that involve understanding local building and safety codes, collaborating with regional suppliers, and supporting energy-efficient initiatives in the area.

Required Qualifications

We need you to have an OSHA-30 certification and be able to read and interpret industrial electrical blueprints and P&IDs. Demonstrated knowledge of motor control circuits and experience with conduit bending machines up to 2” are crucial. You should be proficient with digital testing equipment and have strong mathematical skills for load calculations. Safety is key, so understanding how to use hand and power tools safely is a must. You’ll need 1-3 years of experience in an industrial setting. In Fort Wayne, specific qualifications include familiarity with local industrial safety protocols and an ability to work with the regional utility companies for power distribution projects.
