M3 Technology in Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking a dedicated Data Center Operations Technician to join our team and specialize in critical facility management. This role is essential for ensuring seamless operations within our data center infrastructure, which spans power, cooling, and monitoring systems. As a Data Center Technician, you will support our expanding network across Corpus Christi and neighboring cities such as Portland, Robstown, and Kingsville. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain critical data center infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of power and cooling systems.
• Perform server installations and decommissions, adhering to precise documentation and maintenance protocols.
• Manage cable plant documentation and implement effective hot/cold aisle containment strategies.
• Coordinate maintenance windows and perform power circuit installations to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain battery backup systems and monitor environmental controls to safeguard equipment.
• Execute change management procedures efficiently and manage the entire equipment lifecycle.
• Perform network hardware installations and uphold stringent security protocols.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans specific to Corpus Christi’s environmental conditions.
• Liaise with local utility providers to ensure compliance with Texas-specific energy regulations.
• Support the Coastal Bend Data Initiative, a major regional project focusing on enhancing data infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• BICSI Data Center Technician certification preferred.
• Proven experience with critical infrastructure management and cable termination.
• Demonstrated ability with DCIM systems and strong documentation skills.
• Experience with change management procedures in a commercial setting.
• Clean background check required.
• 3-5 years of data center experience in a commercial environment.
• Familiarity with Texas-specific safety and building codes.
• Residence in or willingness to relocate to the Corpus Christi area.
