Key Responsibilities

• Design and install complete electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and automation controls, tailored to large-scale construction projects.
• Calculate load requirements and ensure compliance with local codes and standards specific to Utah.
• Coordinate with BIM teams to enhance project efficiency and accuracy, utilizing cutting-edge technology to map out electrical layouts.
• Supervise installation crews, ensuring that all work is performed safely and to the highest quality standards.
• Implement advanced lighting control systems to promote energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Manage project material logistics, ensuring timely delivery and optimal resource utilization.
• Perform system commissioning, testing all components to ensure proper functionality and integration.
• Install emergency power systems, including generators and uninterruptible power supplies, to guarantee continuous operations during outages.
• Coordinate with mechanical trades to ensure seamless integration of electrical and HVAC systems.
• Program building automation interfaces, enabling smart building technology and enhanced user experiences.
• Mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
• Conduct site assessments in the West Valley City area, identifying specific challenges and opportunities unique to the region.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a Journeyman electrical license with a firm understanding of commercial electrical systems.
• Demonstrated experience with BIM coordination and the ability to leverage this technology for project planning.
• Expertise in lighting controls and energy-efficient systems, with a focus on sustainable practices.
• Proven project management skills, capable of overseeing multiple aspects of large-scale construction projects.
• Certification for operating various lift types, ensuring safety and efficiency on the job site.
• Strong leadership abilities, able to motivate and manage teams effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of energy codes and proficiency with building automation systems.
• Demonstrated safety management skills, with a focus on OSHA compliance and risk mitigation.
• 0-3 years of experience in a commercial setting, with a strong desire to learn and grow within the industry.
