As a Fire Alarm Technician at JP Electric, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring safety and compliance in our multi-year project located in Alpharetta, GA, with additional projects in nearby areas such as Roswell, Johns Creek, and Milton. Your role is crucial in installing, inspecting, and maintaining fire alarm systems to protect both people and property. You’ll collaborate closely with our contractors and electricians to seamlessly integrate fire alarm systems into new and existing infrastructures.

Your Daily Tasks as a Fire Alarm Technician

Your day-to-day will involve hands-on work with fire alarm systems. You’ll start by installing components like control panels, smoke detectors, and pull stations, ensuring everything aligns with design specifications and safety codes.

Installation and Inspection

You’ll meticulously route and secure low-voltage wiring in walls and ceilings, maintaining an organized and professional installation. Regular inspection of systems is a must to ensure they meet the stringent local fire codes and NFPA standards.

System Testing and Troubleshooting
